The Testing Technician position is responsible for the testing, set up, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of product and equipment and records and analyzes results.

1. Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality.
2. Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
3. Build product subassemblies or final assemblies.
4. Works on several projects at one time.
5. Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
6. Prepare and assembles materials.
7. Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, on some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus practical knowledge of basic ground service equipment (GSE).

Three (3) years of relevant experience.
